Cherry Creek Hockey is offering a High Intensity Summer Skate and Conditioning program that will allow athletes to train at the highest level to be ready for the fall and winter seasons. The program is open to all Cherry Creek Schools middle and high school student athletes who will be attending any CCSD school in 2015-2016. Creek Hockey tryouts will be held at the Ice Ranch the week of August 10th, 2015. Get more information here.
To protect the health of all students the state of Colorado has made several changes in immunization requirements. Parents need to be aware of the following changes for the 2015-16 school year:
And beginning in July 2016, parents seeking non‐medical exemptions for prekindergarten children will need to submit exemption forms at each age when recommended vaccines are due. Then from kindergarten through 12th grade, they will need to submit exemption forms annually. Read more about this requirement.
Parents of elementary, middle and high school student athletes are invited to a free presentation by one of the nation’s leading sports psychologists. Dr. Greg Dale, professor of sport psychology and sport ethics at Duke University, will talk with parents from 7-8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, at Cherokee Trail High School, 25901 E. Shields offers ready-to-use strategies with objectives, materials, language and
examples to help parents and educators understand the cultural and
developmental identities, expressions and learning styles of African American
