8th Grade End of Year Events
We have some exciting events taking place for 8th grade students for the end of the school year!
May 11th: 8th Grade Awards Ceremony (Invite Only) at Smoky Hill High School at 6:00pm
May 14th: Bowlero Lone Tree Field Trip - Permission Slip due to 8th Grade 1st Period Teachers by Friday, May 8th
May 21st: 8th Grade last day of school, dismissal at 3:45
May 21st: 8th Grade Dance at Laredo from 6:00 - 8:00pm

The Colorado State Board of Education approved Cherry Creek School District’s Teacher Degree Apprenticeship Program, a partnership with the Community College of Aurora that allows aspiring teachers to earn a degree and licensure while working in classrooms.

This week, the Cherry Creek School District will celebrate 75 years and welcome back nearly 53,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. As a top performing school district in Colorado and the nation, CCSD celebrates this historic anniversary and commits to continued excellence for each and every student in the years to come.

The new NSWL Denver state-of-the-art performance center broke ground Monday morning; a one-of-a-kind partnership between Denver NWSL and the Cherry Creek School District. The goal is to help advance women’s youth, amateur, and professional sports in Colorado and support CCSD’s vision of a Pathway of Purpose for every student.
